An exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced Sous Chef to join the team at our beautiful UTS Haberfield Club. The newly redeveloped UTS Haberfield Club, specialising in quality food and service, is situated in a picturesque location with water views across Iron Cove. About the role
Reporting to the Head Chef, this position is responsible for contributing to a profitable and efficient food service for the UTS Haberfield Club with an emphasis on quality, creativity and low food waste. This position is 2IC to the Head Chef and ensures the preparation, cooking and presentation of meals for the Club. The position ensuring fresh produce is available and delivered by suppliers. The position will perform full kitchen duties in absence of Head Chef and provide supervision, training and guidance to less experienced staff.

About you
The successful candidate must have a passion for food and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, formal qualifications including Commercial Cookery Certificate, manage all relevant costs, including labour, food and operations expenses. Proven skills & ability to contribute to food production and the ability to perform in the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
